Jung Hyun “Eve Nam” Oh received her undergraduate degree in Sculpture at Ewha Women’s University in South Korea. She studied and mastered wooden and stone carving, terracotta, welding, acrylic, and watercolor paintings. After she married, she moved to the United States and started painting watercolor more. She has participated in local competitions such as the Sager Creek Art competition and the Northwest Art Alliance competition. She won numerous awards including the “Top Award”. She paints portraits and landscapes with watercolors and oil pastels, and she also crafts hand-sewing leather goods and jewelry made with sterling silver and gemstones.
Eve took a new turn as a graduate student at John Brown University in 2015. She was accepted with the distinguished artist award to the Master of Fine Arts program. She believes the talents God has given her will be refined and used to be God’s good tool through this MFA program.
